Left Our Home In Georgia...

I am a little behind on the blog :(  I hope to get several new posts up in the next couple of days!  Our lives have been really crazy this past month!!!

We had so much fun during our last couple of weeks in Georgia before our big move.  Adam still had to work so Mattie and I spent our time trying to see as many friends and family as possible.  There were many day trips, lunches, dinners, play dates and more!!  To say that we were on the go during those last weeks would be an understatement!

We enjoyed a day at Babyland General with Grandpa!!  We even came home with our own Cabbage Patch!!!
Shocking I know!
Mattie had so much fun playing with her BFFs Lilly and Ella.  We sure are going to miss them!!!!
We had fun with Great Gran, because lets be honest she will let you do anything you want.
Always a fun day with our bestie Cora Mae, especially when we get in a photo shoot.  These two are the best!!
It was so fun getting to watch Keegan's soccer game!!  These two were so cute playing after the game.
We took one last trip to the school to visit Mammy and our friends.
We also made a little trip to see Mattie's Great Great Aunt Sybil (my grandpa's sister).  Mattie loved jumping on a footstool in her living room.
Our last week it really started sinking in that we were leaving.  The packers came and packed up our whole sweet little lives into boxes.  The next day the movers came and loaded it onto a truck and it was sent on its way to California.

It was hard saying goodbye to our little house.  Adam and I bought it right before we got married and have called it home since 2008.  We both have such wonderful memories in that house.  My favorite of course is bringing our sweet Mattie Grace home from the hospital.  Flashback...

So, after we were all packed up we were kind of homeless :)  Lucky for us Adam's parents took us in, fed us and gave us a bed to sleep in until we left.  Mattie had a blast while we were there.  Never a dull moment!
"Hey Grandpa can we get out this tent from WWII?"  "Sure, why not!"

"Hey Grandpa, will you get in this really old tent?"  "Sure, why not!"

Hey Grandpa, can I get in the tent too?"  "Sure, why not!"

Dinner time fun with cousins Molly and Keegan!
The day before we left we were able to go to the Atlanta Children's Museum with my sister Heather, and my cousin Ashley and her daughter Cora.  We had so much fun!!!  Both girls were troopers on Marta and we all had such a great time downtown.  A great way to spend our last day in Georgia!

On this last photo I just have to point out that Cora has her foot propped on Mattie's i'm sure to keep it from touching the Marta train!!! :)

The Last Suppers...

Before we left we had dinner with our families.  Wednesday night was dinner with my family and Thursday night was dinner with Adam's family.  It was hard to have those dinners and know that we were not going to be just down the road anymore.  I think Adam and I both took for granted that our families were a short little car ride away.  It was so nice to spend quality time with them before leaving.
Sweet mustache!

I can't believe my sweet Alyssa is 15!!!

Sweet little Molly!

Both Mattie and Molly love to watch videos of themselves, and each other on Grandpa's phone.
We ended our last week in Georgia on a high note, with our families! Can't to see everyone for Christmas!  We miss you all already!!!  XOXO
