January Is Always A Celebration!

Hi All,

We have had a fun couple of weeks in the Corrigan house.  We got one last little peek at our sweet boy, as now I am in the last trimester of my pregnancy.  He is growing and healthy which is always a blessing.  I just can't wait to meet this little guy.  Adam and I both can't believe we only have 8 weeks left as a family of three!

Mattie also enjoyed donuts with dad at school.  She was so excited!!

We recently celebrated our sweet girl's 6th birthday!!!  I can't even believe she is 6!  I have no idea where the time went.  I feel like I blinked and now all of a sudden I don't have a toddler anymore.  She is so smart, caring and independent.  She always has an opinion, and isn't afraid to tell us what she thinks.  She has the best sense of humor and constantly has us laughing with quick one liners.  We are just so incredibility proud of her!

As part of her birthday celebration Mattie and I had a mommy/daughter day and went to see The Little Mermaid at the Fox.  What an amazing day!  We started with lunch at Mary Mac's Tearoom, and then made our way to the Fox.  I think I had more fun watching her, watch the play, than actually watching the play myself.  Her face was priceless.  I was literally in tears just seeing her excitement, and how capitaved she was by the play.  Could be the hormones, but as a mom I'm not sure how much better it can get than that.

Mattie's actual birthday happen to fall on the 100th day of school.  We sent our little old 6 year old to school and then surprised her at lunch.

We also had fun at Mattie's Birthday party.  She wanted a spa party this year.  We invited her cousins, and a few friends to this cute little salon to get their nails, toes, hair and makeup done.  Mattie had the best time, and talked about it for a week afterwards.  My girly girl loved getting pampered with her friends and family.

January was a fun month in the Corrigan house.  Now we are counting down the days until our sweet boy arrives and we become a family of four!
