We have really enjoyed the last couple of months. It has been super busy with holiday gatherings.
Right before Thanksgiving we had our 20 week ultrasound appointment. We decided not to do the genetic testing that would tell us the sex at 12 weeks, we wanted to wait and find out at the ultrasound. We thought it would be fun to take Mattie to that appointment so that she could be there to find out if she was getting a brother or sister. The appointment went great, baby is growing and healthy which is always music to my ears. As soon as we started the ultrasound the tech ask us if we wanted to know the sex. I ask her if she could already tell, and she was like "yep." Of course, we were like "yes, tell us!" She said "It's a BOY!" I was so excited and of course crying. Adam had been so convinced that it was a girl that I am not even sure that it registered when she said boy. It wasn't until later that night when we were talking about boy names that I think it really sank in for him. Mattie said she was excited about having a brother and that she could teach him to play soccer :)
We finished up the appointment and had such a great time getting to have a long look at our sweet boy. I have to say, he is going to look just like Adam. He has Adam's head and he stuck his little foot up for us to see and it was just like Adam's, high arch and all. This boy is going to be just like his daddy, which is a great thing :)
We celebrated a wonderful Thanksgiving with our families. It was so fun to think that we would have another sweet baby to celebrate with next holiday season.

| Auntie Heather and I had Thanksgiving lunch with Mattie at school. I forgot how gross school lunches are :( |

| Mattie and Adam surprised me with getting the crib out and put together while I was out shopping. Mattie was so proud, and couldn't wait to show me what she had done. |
