San Francisco's Social Butterfly

Mattie is becoming such a little social butterfly.  Every time I turn around someone is inviting her to a birthday party or a play date.  But before we get to all the socializing here is a little look into our everyday life :)

Last Friday we did our usual thing.  Normally we go to the park in the morning and then I get the house cleaned and in order so that we can be fun and fancy free during the weekend.  I asked Mattie to go clean up her room so I could vacuum.  It took her forever as always but she accomplished it.  I went in to vacuum, bent down beside her dresser to plug in the vacuum cleaner and to my surprise what did I find ?!?!

Oh yes, Tootsie Roll wrappers.  My Mom sent her an Easter box with some goodies in it, including Tootsie Rolls.  Adam and I don't really give her sweets, and usually she doesn't really care for them.  The container was sitting on the dresser in her room. I never gave it a second thought, because she always asks before she eats anything. Apparently, she knew she was not suppose to have them because she ate them, and hid the wrappers under the dresser!!!!  This at 3!!!!  I am worried about those teenage years!

Just to prove that Mattie really doesn't like sweets (even though the above says otherwise) that much here is photo evidence!  We went out to eat on Friday night and decided to get an ice cream afterward.  What does Mattie want??????  Oh, just a cone…no ice cream.

Saturday we went to a birthday party for her little friend Brynn.  They will be attending preschool together in the fall.  It was an unusually chilly windy day, but that did not stop all the kids from having a great time.

Getting her face painted by Rapunzel.

This is random but I thought it was cool.  On Saturday the Sun had a visible ring around it.

This week Mattie also had a couple of play dates.  One was with a friend from gymnastics and the other was with a girl that use to be in our gymnastics class and some new friends.  Mattie had a blast.

The weather has been so wonderful here this week.  We were also lucky enough to squeeze in some pool time too!!!

I am so blessed to be able to spend this time with Mattie.  She keeps me entertained all day!!!  We are both so incredibly lucky to have Adam.  He has given us such an amazing life out here in California.   We sure do love him!

XOXO
