We had a wonderful holiday weekend. It was so awesome to have Adam home for an extra day! We headed into the city on Saturday to get some breakfast at the farmer's market. After breakfast we walked to Coit Tower.
There was a cute little park that we walked through on our way to Coit Tower.
The walk to the tower was a lot of stairs right beside people's houses. Super cute with tons of flowers and paths. It was such a nice walk.

After Coit Tower we decided to walk around the city and get some lunch. We ended up at Giordano's. So awesome. It is like Primanti Brothers in Pittsburg. We had such a great time just getting to explore some of the city.

After spending the day in the city we spent some time at the pool. Sunday we went to church. We found an awesome church near us and really enjoyed the service. I was a little worried about how Mattie would do being away from us during the service, in a new place with new people. Of course she made me feel ridiculous for even worrying. She walked right into her room and never looked back! She had such a great time. It did my heart good!!

Memorial Day we enjoyed a great day cooking out with friends. We had such a lovely weekend spending time together. I hope you all enjoyed your holiday weekend as much as we did. A special thank you to all the service men and women out there who are the reason we are able to enjoy our lives and freedoms. We should thank them everyday and not just holidays! Thank YOU!!!
