The City and Napa With a Side of Soccer

Hi All,

It has been a busy couple of weeks here in California.  We recently found out we will be moving back to Georgia in October.  We are super excited to be back with our families, but at the same time a little sad to leave such an awesome city!

Recently we spent a day in the city with some friends.  We ate breakfast at the Ferry Building (our favorite), and then walked around the city for a while.  It was a gorgeous day, and we had such a blast.

Last weekend we drove to Napa and spent the day.  We had lunch at Gott's.  They had the most amazing hamburgers!  They were so good I inhaled mine before I could take a picture.  Then we toured Sterling Vinyards. It was our first trip to Napa since moving out here.  It is so beautiful, but we were surprised to see that they are still repairing and rebuilding from the earthquake last year.  That earthquake really did some damage to the downtown Napa area. :(

Gondola ride up to the vineyard.

Yesterday, Mattie had her soccer parade and her first game.  It was so much fun watching her first game.  She did great and even scored 3 goals!  I was about to jump out of my seat the whole game.

Mattie and her friend Josie.  They go to school together too and have become fast friends!

Ready for her first game!

Half-time
She has her mean mug game face on!

She shoots….
And scores!!!!

Great game sweet girl!
We are really enjoying our last month here.  We can't wait to have a few more Corrigan Adventures before we head back home!

XOXO
