This past weekend we ventured to Denver for Adam's cousin Brittany's wedding. Brittany and Dan are such a sweet couple and they asked Mattie to be one of their flower girls. So, Friday morning we were up and off to the airport bright and early. Adam was so super excited to get to see all of his family. I know he has been missing them, so it was wonderful for him to get to see and spend some time with them.

After a fun morning on a plane we were finally in Denver and ready to start celebrating a having fun with family!

We only had a few hours after arriving in Denver before the rehearsal to spend time with everyone. I went back to the airport to get Adam's dad, and when we got back it was time to get ready for the night to begin :) We had the most amazing view from our cottage and it was only a short walk to the clubhouse for the rehearsal.

After the rehearsal we were able to send the kids(Mattie, Keegan and Molly) back to the cottage with a babysitter (thanks Robin;) and enjoy a nice dinner adult style!

Saturday was a low key day. Kelly and I were able to spend the day just hanging at the cottage with the kids while Adam and Matt played a round of golf.
After a fun day it was time for the wedding. I have to say, I think Mattie was the cutest flower girl ever!!! Before we left for this trip Adam was talking to Mattie about the wedding and telling her how she should introduce herself to people. Mattie looked straight at Adam and said "well dad I am a little shy." What?!?! That kid is hilarious!

We had a blast this past weekend. We had so much fun getting to spend time with Adam's family and felt so honored that Mattie was asked to be a part of Brittany and Dan's special day. We were so excited to be able to be there and celebrate with everyone! Fabulous wedding, gorgeous bride, handsome groom, cutest kids ever, and a wonderful weekend with family!
We wish Dan and Brittany lots of love and happiness! We know they will have a lifetime of both!
I am going to end this blog post with how Mattie looked the day after, which should be an indication of what a great time we all had.
