Do I Really Have A Kindergartner?!?!

Hi All,

I can't even believe I just started writing a post about my sweet little baby starting kindergarten!!! I feel like she was a little bitty baby not that long ago, and now she is so independent and such a big girl. I just can't believe we have a kid in elementary school! She LOVES school! I am so thankful that this was an easy transition for her, and that it has been such a wonderful experience. She has an awesome teacher, and I am so happy that she loves to go to school everyday.

It was pretty hard putting her on that bus the first day. I still can't believe that my sweet baby is old enough to ride a school bus to school. She is a rockstar, and has loved every minute of it!

Life Is Better At The Beach!

Hi All,

Is summer really over?!?! I feel like it came and went so fast. I am so far behind on my blog, so expect some back to back posts to catch up:) Before summer started I was planning all these things for Mattie and me to do and now its over and I'm not sure we did any of them!! It just all happened so quickly! We did manage to squeak in some family time, and sneak off to the beach for a week. It was so awesome to just get to be together and have nothing but fun stuff to do. Our last beach trip was when Mattie was about 1 1/2 years old. She was not really a fan, but this year she was digging it!

On the drive down we stopped at Mattie's Cafe. We found it on our first trip to the beach, so we had to find it and stop again. We were sad to find out that it is under new management and the name will be changing. :(

After about 6 hours in the car, we made it to Destin. Yay!!! What's the first thing we do...go check out the beach of course!

Adam's parents joined us a couple of days into our trip, which was awesome. We also got to spend our last day of vacation with Adam's sister and her fam. The kids had so much fun and were so happy to be at the beach together.
