Happy Birthday America and then some...

Hi All!

As usual we have been staying pretty busy.  Last weekend we drove to Santa Cruz on Friday to see Blind Melon.  Adam was so excited for this concert.  Our trip kind of got off to a rough start.  As soon as we pulled into our parking spot in Santa Cruz, my car starting going nuts (like doors locking and unlocking, not showing that the car was in drive, etc.).  If you know Adam, you know that there was no way to enjoy a concert with this hanging over his head.  We turned around for an hour and fifteen minute drive back to Pleasanton.  We took the car straight to the dealership and dropped it off and they gave us a courtesy vehicle.  We got in the car and looked at each other and said "we are driving back to Santa Cruz.  It's what Corrigans do!"  Mattie was happy and in a great mood and Adam had been looking forward to going to this concert so off we went.  Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!!!  We made it back in plenty of time for Mattie to ride some rides and to grab some food before the concert started.  It turned out to be a fun night.

This Fourth Of July weekend has been great.  We have enjoyed some pool and boat time with great friends and even attempted to see some fireworks.  The fireworks did not work out very well, we picked a lame spot to watch them from and couldn't really see them.  It was a good attempt, and we still had fun.

We hope you all enjoyed a fun, safe and happy holiday weekend.  While we really missed our tradish of running the Peachtree Roadrace (we know Kelly and Matt kicked butt and we were there in spirit cheering them on) we still had an awesome Fourth!

Happy Birthday America!
XOXO
